This blog is written by me, a wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, friend and pet owner. It's about my life and the things that I do, which are ALWAYS changing!
I’ve been busy today getting the last of the things I needed for my trip and getting things taken care of here in the house. I’m on a pretty good “schedule” as far as being able to have done what I want done here in the house before I leave! And I have everything I need to take on my trip, now it’s just the matter of getting everything to fit in the suitcase that I’m taking, THAT will be interesting!
But what I wish I would have found sooner is this REALLY cool Flexible Tripod that would have really came in handy on the trip for the TONS of pictures I plan on taking!!

I realized today that my computer has Windows Movie Maker, so I thought I’d give it a try with some photos I took Saturday night. I took 80 photos and put them to the song Live Like You Were Dying By Tim McGraw. I hope you enjoy it!
I am so excited! I’ve been chosen as one of the lucky people the receive a 16×20 canvas of a photo of my choice! I’ve thought it over for a few days trying to decide what photo I want to use for the canvas. My first thought was something for my parents because they both turn 70 this year, so I was thinking about a picture of them, but getting one has become almost impossible.
Then I thought about one of the pictures that I took early this spring when I spent the day around town with my camera. I really considered this one shot that I took of my coffee cup in black and white, an as tempting as that would be, I just couldn’t say “YES” to the thoughts.
So after TONS of thinking, I finally decided to use a photo enlargement of this photo I took of the kids last summer on one of our zoo trips
Here is another of the pictures I took on Monday, I think it is probably my favorite picture of the ones that I took that day. Not sure why though…LOL! I’ve contacted Beaners about it and they gave me an email address to send it to, I’m waiting to see if I’ll hear back from them as to whether they liked it or not.
This is a really neat picture of The Docks area. It’s an outdoor patio of a restaurant. The restaurant was closed at the time I took the picture and I just found it kind of funny that there were still glasses, condiments and beer bottles left on the tables from the night before. I hope to have some more days in the future that I can go and take pictures like this. I LOVE my new camera and I really want to do some neat things with it. Hope your enjoyed my pictures!

You know, I got to thinking about what the weather is going to be like tomorrow. I know I have many things around the house that I could do, but I think I’m going to take the morning to myself. I haven’t had a chance to get out much with my new camera and I really want to get some great nature pictures. This time of year is a wonderful time to capture nature coming back to life after a long winters nap. It’s just too bad you can’t capture the sounds as well as the scenes without taking a video!
I have to take my son to school at 9 and rather than coming back home I think I’m going to take my camera along and spend the 3 hours he’s in school catching some pictures down by the Maumee River and some parks in the area. I haven’t taken the time to fully use the features of my camera and I think that would be a great opportunity to do so! If I do, I’ll be sure to share the pictures with you!
