Yeah, we’ve had some warm days, but when compared to our normal summer weather, and even last summer, the weather this summer has just been fantastic! While watching the news this morning the weather lady said that our area “normally” has 14 days with temperatures over 90 degrees, and last summer alone we had 24 days over 90. This summer, however, we’ve only had 9!

And the weather forecast for the upcoming week is awesome! Most of our daytime temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70’s with over night temps ranging from the mid 50’s most nights to a couple of nights in the very low 60’s! To quote one of my online friends that I caught up with this morning, “This time of year is normally warmer than hades”! I know for a fact that I’ve had the air conditioning off more than it’s been on! That in itself is rare!

I’m not sure what’s up for this week for me. I know that I need to get out and put more job applications and resumes in, but I also can’t help but wonder if it’s worth using the gas! With an unemployment rate of 9.2% everyone is out looking for work right now. But I have to take the chance! At the rate we’re going right now we’re going to end up out on our butts by the beginning of October, if not before! Everything is past due and we have to at least get the house phone and cell phones turned back on this week, which is probably going to take every last penny we have coming in. Sometimes I just feel like giving up, but I can’t!
