The old adage about time going faster the older you get hasn’t been more true that it is as this moment! Exactly 24 hours from right now my youngest child will turn 13! Although I always knew this day would come, I honestly never thought it would arrive as fast as it did!
Where did the past 13 years go? I look back and think about where my life was then and where it is now and it’s honestly not that much different. It’s not that I feel my life is bad, because I don’t! If anything I feel eternally grateful for what I have been given.
Years ago I was told by a very prominent doctor that I would never carry a child full term, let alone give birth. And look at me now, I’m a mom of two wonderful children, well, they’re wonderful sometimes…..LOL 
But seriously! I truly feel blessed for what I have been given! There are so many out there that go through so many more struggles than I do, but I draw my strength from their stories!
Be forewarned, I’m going to have one of those “Mushy Mom” posts tomorrow…LOL! But I think that you will enjoy it!

I just taught my oldest how to ride a bike yesterday, and I swear it was just yesterday I was holding his hand as he learned to walk. I am so going to be sitting in your shoes in about 8 years (wow, is it only that few??). Happy early birthday to your sweet blessing!
PS After having two miscarriages before having any children, and getting no answers as to why, I wondered if I’d ever carry any myself. I think after you wonder (or in your case, are told) if you ever can have any, you really don’t take them for granted.
