I’ve talked about CarAngel.com before and about how they use the proceeds from used car donations to make educational DVD’s for children in the hope of educating them on many of the values that made our country what it is today. Besides the videos, they also participate in programs that benefit single mothers, orphans, teen and adult rehab programs, prison reform and the homeless.

The best thing about programs like this is how much they can actually help people who need the help. But I also found out that they will gladly accept a boat donation as well as a car donation. Since we live very close to one of the Great Lakes, it’s common place to see boats sitting around in peoples back yards in my area. But when you see that a boat hasn’t moved for a few years, you realize that it more than likely isn’t going to be moving from it’s spot at all. If more people know about Car Angel and their car and boat donation program we’d be able to free peoples yards from the clutter of cars and boats that have sat around for many years!

Here is just a sampling of one of the many children’s video’s that Car Angel has made. This video is one in a series of five about Donkey Ollie and is geared more towards preschool and early elementary aged children.
