The art of designing a business card

Jan 22nd, 2008 by justsimplyholly

I have never held a job that required me to have business cards made up, but I won’t deny that I’ve spent times at business card sites designing what I think would be my perfect business card. One of the most important steps in designing a perfect business card it making sure that you start out with a top notch logo design.

Tonight I spent some time at logoyes.com, first picking out a great logo design then creating a business card that not only advertised my website, but on that I also felt suited my own personal style. The site itself is extremely easy to use, with simple step by step instructions that don’t leave you wondering what you need to do next. They have over 20,000 logos to choose from, which gives the user the ability to choose a logo that best suits their business as well as their own personal tastes. If you are towards the final stages of designing your logo or business card and realize that the color is wrong or the logo or wording just isn’t what you thought it would be, it’s very simple to go back to the step you want to change, and when you’re done with the changes you can just jump back to the step you were on.

Now, lets say you’ve gone through every logo they offer, and you simply cannot find one that suits your liking, or you want a logo that is completely unique to you and your business. For a nominal fee, LogoYes.com will design a custom logo to your specifications.

No matter if you decide on one of the thousands of logos that they have on their site, or a custom made logo, you’re sure to be thrilled with the quality of your finished project. One of the keys to becoming a successful business is advertising, and finding the right logo to put on your business card to start branding your business is a great way to start!

So hurry up, what are you waiting for? Head on over to their website and get started! It’s quick and easy to do, and before you know it you’ll be looking at your perfect logo and business card! I had so much fun designing one for this website that I went ahead and designed another for after I get my marketing degree! ;-) Check them out and tell me what you think! But not until after you design yours first!

Thank you! I think that one is my favorite too, although, to me, the graphic now looks like a set of butt cheeks with a flower on them….LMAO! But I still like it the best! You think anyone else will think the same thing?

You should make your own logo for your website =D. Much more brandable!
