Long weekends really throw me off

Now please don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy the long weekends, but for some reason they mess with me..LOL! For instance, yesterday I was making sure that my son’s school uniforms were all washed because I was sure he had school today! He and I almost got into an argument about it..LOL! But I enjoy them because I have the extra people here to help me get things done! Laundry is about 3 loads away from being caught up for the first time since we moved here almost 2 months ago and the house is looking mighty spiffy! Of course, getting the last of the cabinet doors for the kitchen cabinets painted helps it look better too!
Today is football Sunday, but the Lions have already played, so the only team to watch today is my Bengals. I’m not sure I’ll pay much attention to the game, I’m so not happy with them this year! After having a stellar season in 2005, they’ve gone horribly down hill ever since! So I think I’ll spend a good part of today getting things a little more decluttered so that I can start getting out my Christmas decorations out. Since I can’t put my tree up for a couple more weeks I might as well get what decorations out that I can and check my tree lights to make sure what ones work and what ones don’t. I’d also like to get my sons room in order today and get my daughters room cleaned up so that I can at least get their Christmas trees put up!
