A white Thanksgiving??

Yes, I know it’s mid November and no, I don’t expect the weather to stay as nice as it has been. But when I over heard the weather man say that there was the possibility of a few inches of snow accumulation on Thanksgiving, I had to take a double take. He didn’t repeat it, and I’ve missed the local weather updates he’s done since that one, so there is a chance that I didn’t hear him correctly. This is one of those VERY rare times when I wish I had a DVR!
It’s not that I mind snow, but if if snows and accumulates on Thanksgiving Day, that means that it will be cold when I’m standing in line waiting for the stores to open at 4:00 AM on black Friday. And from years of personal experience of standing outside when it’s cold and snowy, I’d prefer to not have to deal with that anymore…LOL! I also don’t like the thought of driving on Thanksgiving Day if there is snow on the ground because for some reason people forget how to drive in snow and there are more accidents. And since we’re going to Michigan for Thanksgiving, that means that we’ll be driving.
Oh well, I need to be quiet, don’t I? I am the one that chooses to live here, so I need to stop complaining about the weather!
