Just Simply Holly

I have talked it over with my hubby, and although his new job does pay well, it’s still important for me to get a good and reliable job! I love the job that I’ve been working the past 2+ years, but my hours are VERY sporadic right now, I haven’t worked but maybe 15 hours in the past month, and those were in the same week. I don’t blame my boss, if there’s no business, he can’t afford to pay me, it’s as simple as that. And since he’s also a friend I wouldn’t expect him to give me hours when he can’t afford to pay me either.

That being said, I have an “appointment” at  6:00 PM for a part time, seasonal job. My hope is to get on the over night shift, that way I work while the kids are sleeping and am available if they need me during the day. And if my hubby is out of town working, they’re more than old enough to be home alone now. It would be a decent job with decent pay and I wouldn’t have to work 8+ hour shifts.

So cross your fingers and wish me luck. I’ll let ya know how it goes!
