The things I’ve learned

It’s been a VERY long 10 days since we got the keys to the new house. Some of the time in those 10 days have been good times, while others have not been so good. But I’ve learned several things in the past 10 days
- I’ve learned that there is a HUGE difference between dirt and filth!
- I’ve learned that you can clean and scrub until you make the tips of your fingers raw enough to bleed!
- I’ve learned that time flies even when you’re not having fun!
- I’ve learned that being organized has it’s advantages!
- I’ve learned that there is virtually no difference between the slower speed DSL that I currently have and the higher speed DSL that I was paying $15 a month more for at our old house.
- I’ve learned that sometimes you can take a person for their word, that not everyone is out to take advantage of you!
- I’ve learned that 2 dogs running through a house with wood floors at full speed can jump on a couch and make it fly across a room hard enough to knock out my computer that sits behind the couch! LOL
Today I am spending the day getting laundry caught up and getting the boxes and bags in my kitchen unpacked so that I can finally set up my kitchen table! We’re all very tired of eating dinner on TV trays! I also need to run into town and put some gas in the truck before I run out, IF I don’t run out on the way to the gas station! But this morning is my “ME” time!
