Just Simply Holly

Everything that requires more than one person to lift and move has now been brought to the new house! A HUGE thank you goes out to my sister and her husband, they came down today and helped us “git ‘er done”! I am most thrilled about the fact that I don’t have to try to watch TV in the family room on a 13 inch TV anymore! My 42 inch is much easier on the eyes!

I knew that I had been depressed at the old house for quite some time, but I honestly had no idea that I had let it go as badly as I did. I was quite embarrassed when we started moving furniture today and I found trash, dust bunnies and HUGE gobs of dog hair every where!

I also have to say that as much as I am going to miss my “office” I think that being back in the main flow of the house while I’m at my computer is going to be a much better thing for me.  I realize now that I was depressed about the other house, that’s why I let it go so bad.  It was a good thing for us, when we moved into it, but it was falling apart around us and the landlord flat out refused to do anything about it.  It was becoming a health hazard, especially after we found black mold in the ceiling above my side of the bed.  So getting out of that house was something that was mandatory to us and our health.
