Cough, cough, hack, hack

OMG, I think I’m dying here! Seriously! I woke up this morning and got ready for class. For the most part, I felt fine, other than being a little tired. By the end of my first class I could tell I was coming down with a fever. I left class and walked across the pedestrian bridge to go to the other side of campus. By the time I got over there I was very winded and completely exhausted. I did the couple of things I had to do and headed for the bridge to go to the library to do some studying. By the time I got to the library I knew something was VERY wrong. I put my hand to my forehead and it was obvious I was coming down with a fairly high fever. I was honestly going to try and stick it out, get my studying done and head to my afternoon class, but the reality of the situation was there was no way I was going to be able to do that. So I packed up the laptop and my books and headed for the pedestrian bridge again…LOL! (I guess I should tell you that these bridges (there are 2 of them) have these HUGE incline ramps that really give you a work out! For me, by the time I get to the top of the incline, I can “feel the burn” in my legs! ) I got over the bridge for the 2nd time and headed to my car. The heat was horrible and every inch of my body ached horribly! It took me 45 minutes to make the drive home because I honestly didn’t feel like I was alert enough to drive like I normally do. Not that I drive fast, I just find a line of traffic on the expressway thats going at a good pace and jump in, but occasionally if I can’t find one I will start one of my own…LOL.
I got home, let the dogs out, made 2 phone calls and went to bed! I looked at the clock before I closed my eyes at it was 1:04. I woke up when my oldest got home from school at about 3:40. I’ve been up and down since then. I feel like death warmed over. Not exactly sure what’s going on though. I have a nasty and VERY productive cough that came out of the middle of nowhere. I also am having some vomitual problems. So it’s just the whole realm I guess…LOL. My fever spiked at 103.7 at one point, so I’ve already emailed my instructor for my class tomorrow to let him know I won’t be in class.
I guess I’d better get back to bed. Later!
