OK, I admit it; I’m in my 40’s and am definitely no young chickie any more….LOL! Along with getting older comes the oh so fun aches and pains. I have a shoulder injury that is over 20 years old that I’ve never fully dealt with because it means having a fairly major surgery. I also have the beginnings of arthritis in both of my hands from years of cracking my knuckles.

I was recently given some sample packets of a product called Freeze It that claims to be stain free, greaseless and has a vanishing scent. I’m a skeptical person, so I had my doubts about those claims. I’ve used many types of gel and rub products for pain, and have yet to find one with a scent that is tolerable, let alone a scent that vanishes. Freeze Its scent is definitely not overwhelming like many of the other topical pain relievers I’ve used. It also hold up to its claim of being greaseless VERY well. I haven’t noticed stains on the clothing that I was wearing the times that I’ve used it, so its claim to be stain free also holds true.

I think the thing that I liked the most about Freeze It was how quickly I could feel the benefits of the gel. Most topical pain creams seem to take quite a while before they finally kick in. I could feel the warming effects of Freeze It almost as soon as I put it on my skin. For my shoulder it worked well for the achy pain that I feel in it on an almost constant basis. And from checking their website I see that they also offer a roll on version, which I think I would prefer better than the gel.
